I'm a bit sceptical. If someone puts duct tape or a padlock on the outside of the hatch, how do they get back in?

They’re on the inside?

I would say that if you opened a hatch while in space (which is what the lock was there to stop) you wouldn’t really need to worry about getting back in!

Reminds me of the U.K. nuclear convoys. The tractor units are padlocked from the outside whilst the driver is inside.

Quite. The convoy has a fair bit of resilience, including people you would struggle to notice.

LIDL sell counter intelligence stuff on the middle isle now as well as angle grinders so you might get away with it !
