What sort of cross flow? LA or DD? Cycle wings or flares?
Are you thinking of bigger fronts as well as rears?

Needs to be 13" wheels - all larger diameter weigh considerably more and upset suspension dynamics. With X flow power 185/70 or 60's will be plenty IMO
ALSO - A 7 is NOT a 'chav' car and looks silly with big wheels IMO.

I am fully in agreement on big silly wheels….just thinking a little bit wider possibly- still want to keep on 13s

You might get to 205s. More likely at the back than at the front.

185/60/13 front, 205/60/13 rear...
Perfect!

front and rear both on 6" wheels? I ran a later Caterham on 205s all round on 6" wheels. Seemed to work ok.
