John Griffiths is just down the road from me in Caversham.
I've never used them, but they've been in business for 40yrs and seem to have a good rep locally.

A fellow PHer speaks highly of Calcot Cars off Portman Rd, they used to look after his E350 before he sold it.

Yep, that'll be me, Calcot Cars, highly recommended. Couple of folks in my neighborhood use them and everyone's more than happy. I tried John Griffiths but found them a bit like a doctor's surgery, hard to get past the receptionist, whereas at Calcot I always spoke directly to the top man.I've never used them, but they've been in business for 40yrs and seem to have a good rep locally.

Eventually though, I got sick of coughing up for constant repairs on my wretched money pit of a car, so I got a Honda instead. 5 years, zero bills, bliss.
