Thoughts before it goes to see a doctor.

Full main dealer everything.

In auto, manual, any form, seems (to a layman) more fuel / injector than gearbox) related.

thoughts, ideas, costs, please

and options if not RBM ?

When you say grumbling, do you mean the engine is noisy? If so I really hope it isn't this

Hesitation can be caused all manner of things. EGR valve sticking open, duff injector(s), bad upstream O2 sensor etc.

I do have a thought though. If you are that apathetic about attempting to describe the problem and provide context, then the doctor is the best place for it in the first instance.

If it’s still your X3 F25 then hesitation could be the transmission. Check your tyres front to back are within 3mm of depth difference. Grumbling not sure, I had a shunting sound like the whole thing disconnecting
