Has anyone actually seen one of these in the flesh?

With it's new angular look, to my eyes it has a bit of a look of a RR Evoque.

I had a new "previous" generation one two years ago, which was excellent, and am seriously fancying one of these.

I have been in a couple of showrooms and they said they should be through in a few weeks, although I would not want it until September for the new reg.

I would have an automatic, which would be around 25k.

My new Mokka last year (Which is lovely) was £27k, but I find the boot a tad on the small side,

Was only launched at Geneva in March. Not on sale yet, but soon I think.

Yes, thanks, that's why I wondered if anyone had actually seen one in a showroom anywhere?

Heard a rumour that they might not be on the road until the end of the year. No idea on the validity of that one.

Hybrid only unless you're happy with the 1.0.

I don't think there will be any in UK showrooms until the autumn. Deliveries in some countries started a couple of weeks ago, there are a few owner reviews on YT.

I'll be interested in the 1.2 4x4 version in 2-3 years I reckon.

It'll be as utterly depressing as a mode of transport as every other Dacia ever made. Cheap, nasty, and made for a very niche audience that simply want cheap (reliable) crap.

Alright, Carlo. We can't all drive around in 911s...

I think it’s great looking car in all honesty.

UK dealers aren't getting their demos until October, first customer deliveries are November.

I saw one last week at my local dealer in France. Looks good. Interestingly, the new Renault Scenic was next to it and they look as though they have been drawn by the same pen!

Pretty sure Carlo said an almost identical comment regards the Dacia Spring. I don't think he's keen on Dacia cars. I really like my Logan and find it neither depressing, nasty or crap, quite the opposite and will buy another.

You couldn't be more wrong.

I've got a Toyota Hybrid thing at the moment. About the same size. It's worse than my Duster in a lot of ways.

Dusters have a bit of charm about them, great little cars for the money. Loads better in some respects than cars 3 or 4 times the price.

But keep convincing yourself you're somehow better.

Same parent really. Loved my Duster.

So that Scenic, where does it sit what with the Captur and Austral?

It’s EV only so it sits as a slightly larger Megane basically.

Normal car range is Clio - Captur - Arkana - Austral - Rafale

EV range is R5 (coming) - Megane - Scenic - Symbioz (coming)
