who on PH has got one fitted? Did you notice the alleged benefits?

One thing that I dont want is any increase in dbs. Did you notice a noise increase?

My standard manifold had a knackered flexi section so when I fitted my 4-2-1 it made it quieter.

Definatley one of the more worthwhile mods.

I thought you had a 160 Shnozz? didnt that come with an uprated manifold?

no mate, spec as per the advert

www.bell-colvill.co.uk/LotusShop/Details.asp?Id=BC160

I hear the 4-2-1 manifold is the missing link and really makes the most of the conversion, hence I am keen to have it done. What I am not keen on is being turned away at Goodwood for failing the noise limit...

94dbs at the moment so little to play with if I want to be in the very good boys sub 95 any trackday club...

Ah fair enough.

The noise depends on what sports exhaust you have and if you have a cat by-pass fitted or not.

A friend of mine who has a 111S with janspeed manifold cat by-pass and janspeed sports exhaust made 99dB at Castle coombe at their last action day.

thats not too bad. The B&C sports zorst came with the conversion but I am still catted so if I creep into the 96 - 97 territroy I wont be too bothered. The only downside is for open pitlane days at Goodwood and those are few and far between so not really a concern.

Thanks for the help
