Gallardo pull away - how smooth? (e-gear)

Having been out in a couple with the view to buy...the one I'm most interested in ticks all the boxes, but I guess I wanted to put my mind at ease?

During the test drive I noticed some skipping on full lock, and slight judder when pulling away.. Clutch is about 40% used. Car has done under 50k miles..

Is this normal or an early indication of something that needs attention?

The 'skipping' you describe on full lock is perfectly normal and is due to the ackerman angle of the suspension.

the edge of the the tyre on the inside of the curve needs to describe a shorter arc than the outside edge
the tyre skipping to sort itself out is perfectly normal for a wide, sticky tyre
i replaced my brick drive with gravel, sorted

a single jolt when pulling away can be corrected 90% of the time with some e-gear practice

It's not a single jot, but a slight shudder as the clutch engages.

The cerbera was the same when cold (albeit it a 3 pedal car). Similar to the feeling of a glazed clutch or warped flywheel, but nowhere near that bad. However, it seems it's not so much normal from responses.

If it only happens on full lock, judder and skip, it's due to being in full lock, the gallardo doesn't like it, even 2wd

If you mean "crabbing", it happens on most supercars with wide tyres and tight turning circles, it;s normal......
