Hi all, anyone know where is a decent place to buy tyres in Oxford?

My daughter lives there, punctured, carried on driving on it as not far from home.....and try stopping anywhere in Oxford without attracting a ticket!!, apparently the RAC man who changed it for the space saver claims she requires a new tyre. Whilst I am not disputing that as I have not seen it, and will more than likely get her 2 so both tyres have the same grip, But live 1.5 hours away, and can't get up there for 2 weeks, luckily she does not need it until then.
But any suggestions would be gratefully received

If she's continued to drive on it when flat it'll be trashed unfortunately.

Tyres on the drive will come to her work or home and fit them out of a van. I'm sure other places offer the same service at a cost.

Try BK Tyres in Wallingford. I dare say they’d travel to Oxford in their van… give them a call.

Blackcircles. They will direct you to a partner garage for fitting

For an independent the Wheatley Tyre Centre is good and receptive if you give them a call. Otherwise there is an ATS just off the ring road next to the Mini plant.

Edit: avoid F1 Auto centre like the plague.

There’s a KwikFit in headington. You (assuming your the father) could phone them and see if they have in stock or order. Leave your surname and wh3n your daughter arrives instead she can hopefully avoid the “you need new brakes, suspension, exhaust” conversation to “NO, just the tyres, I’ll speak to my dad “

I used Philips tyres near the Mini factory. Very good service, and reasonable price. they were busy there so popular with the locals

Yep, just order online on their website and select a local garage to fit them as part of the ordering process. No messing about or being upsold all sorts of other stuff. Easy
