Where to buy tyres in Oxford
Discussion
Hi all, anyone know where is a decent place to buy tyres in Oxford?
My daughter lives there, punctured, carried on driving on it as not far from home.....and try stopping anywhere in Oxford without attracting a ticket!!, apparently the RAC man who changed it for the space saver claims she requires a new tyre. Whilst I am not disputing that as I have not seen it, and will more than likely get her 2 so both tyres have the same grip, But live 1.5 hours away, and can't get up there for 2 weeks, luckily she does not need it until then.
But any suggestions would be gratefully received

For an independent the Wheatley Tyre Centre is good and receptive if you give them a call. Otherwise there is an ATS just off the ring road next to the Mini plant. Edit: avoid F1 Auto centre like the plague.

There’s a KwikFit in headington. You (assuming your the father) could phone them and see if they have in stock or order. Leave your surname and wh3n your daughter arrives instead she can hopefully avoid the “you need new brakes, suspension, exhaust” conversation to “NO, just the tyres, I’ll speak to my dad “
