Hoping someone has had the same issue.

Car is a 2020, RHD, 5.0, manual, with dual zone (not sure if they all have this).

It’s been to Ford for two heater motor replacements, just picked it up again after they found nothing wrong this time …

The passenger side works as per the controls, the driver side doesn’t warm up, the dealer told me the motor is located by the drivers feet and as such it is easy to knock … sounds like BS to me as I’ve had a look and can’t see a great deal.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Is it blowing air at all from the driver side?

Couple of common faults with the S550 regarding the heater...
1- Mixer flaps in main HVAC unt
2- Door blend actuator (if blowing cold on driver side it will 99% be this)

Yes, passenger side is as per the control, driver side blows air but just ambient temp.

Door Blend Actuators failing is a Very common problem on the Mustang and the F150 (they used the same part), the driver side one is easy to get to and can be bought from Rock Auto for approx £23 delivered, the problem with getting Ford to pay is the fault showing while they have the car or, as you have mentioned, they said they couldn't find anything wrong

Yes the DORMAN 604289 is the one, you might want to order a couple as I know some owners are on the 3rd or 4th replacement!

Use this code for a 5% discount smile

Frustratingly swapped and still not working, hot on the passenger side and ambient on the drivers.

Will take it for a run after and double check as I only let it run on the drive.
