The most precious thing on this planet and something ive always believed ever since an early age, always enjoy what you’re doing, dont hurt others or you wont go far wrong my father said.. he was correct and so far so good smile

I’m not a big reader but perfectly capable, (last read was the twilight trilogy) understand human phycology quite well and the mechanics of life to get the best from it, effort in, rewards back..

But the latter years approach and i/we have probably 30 years of active service to make the best of and am entering the fulfilment part of my life with my wife (of 35 years)

‘About Time’ was a lovely film about the best way to spend your time and i was wandering if any of you have read any good books that relate to the phycology behind ‘ways & techniques’ of spending time as you get older, not, go gardening or join a ‘man shed’ group etc, i know all the things that i/we enjoy and that satisfy us.

more after a book about the philosophy of life and the different stages way go through as we progress and age on our passage, how different psyche tackle it in different ways, even different cultures and how they broach it when surrounded by less (or more) modern clutter/noise.

Any suggestion? (If ive even made myself clear hehe)

Whilst it doesnt fit the bill FULLY in terms of what you're looking for, "Tribe" by Sebastian Junger is a fantastic read about the psychology of humans and implications on how best to live your life going forward, I feel.

I'm not a massive reader, but I've read it three times!
