June Photography Competition - Happiness

Thank you for voting me winner of the May competition.

This month I'm setting the theme as Happiness.
Interpret it how you will.

The weather has been terrible for ages and life can get us down. We all need a splash of happiness where we can get it.
So looking forward into June let's hope it's a happy month and we can enjoy it.

The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
Entries and discussion on a single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.

Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Quality over quantity this month I see.

I liked the smiles and pure emotion, fits the brief perfectly.

Thanks so much for this.

I would have expected more entries given the subject, and that a great deal of photos are taken in "happy" situations.

I'll get the topic for July up shortly, and try to choose something that includes a wide range of possibilities.
