Hi will be renewing warranty on my 19 plate 570S later next month.

As I understand it, the warranty no longer covers breakdown assistance - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Most of my mileage is local and I am approx 100 miles away from main dealer.

Can anyone recommend the best breakdown company as presumably, if I do encounter and issue, it will need to go to the main dealer to be sorted ?

Thoughts ?

I thought I'd read that when cover was included, it was either provided by the RAC or AA and the cover wasn't anything different to what they offer to the public?

I don't think that's true. When my battery went flat I had a million errors when it was recharged. I had a McLaren specialist on the driveway with official McLaren diagnostics and expert knowledge to solve it.

For the original question, I don't think it matters all that much - whichever service you use, they're unlikely to make much effort to fix a McLaren. I use GEM, but would be equally happy with RAC, AA, Greenflag etc.

Thanks, my mistake.
