Just wondering what the situation is with discounts on new taycans (as in the new model not the last of the old ones) ?

I bought the last of the MK1's at a good discout (if thats the right description!) but may now be changing jobs and cant take car with me.

i could just call Porsche but wondered if anybody has asked recently ?

December this year may be a good time if you are happy with a pre-reg car.....

There is a new (well 2 month old and 800 miles) facelift CT4S up for nearly 20K off list. See the other Taycan thread.
Big discounting of the new model is underway...

Whatever discount you get, you'll still be taking a deep depreciation bath.

They are just massively grossly overpriced. Giant bath coming for anyone who buys one new or used.

The Chinese are leading the way on these, love them or hate them. No reason for Porsche to rape UK customers beyond misguided profit max.

Problem is, last time I checked, they aren't producing anything quite as good looking or that drives like a Porsche.

Haha, the best form of flattery etc!

Still, new Cold War competition, so the West may start taxing them out of the game to keep Euros in the Eurozone.

Has anyone had any recent experience of discounts?

It’s our company yr end soon and am thinking about an electric car but would need a huge discount on list to make it worthwhile.

They're easily 100% overpriced, the jump from the old model to the new model was huge.

So I'd start by offering 50% and go from there.

Porsche Finder would be a good starting point but will likely have only a small percentage of new Taycans available. The oak green neo CT is almost 30% off.

This one? Says list is £120k and is up for £108k.

That’s the sort of discount levels I’m seeing online. I spoke to my pic today and mentioned I would be needing c25% off and wasn’t met with much enthusiasm.

You’ll get a cracking deal if you push bearing in mind end of December is key to Porsche dealers.

I got £40k off a new GTS ST last December (albeit leased), they were desperate to have the deal done by the end of that month.

But the residual will keep tumbling so still expensive to own even from starting there.

There was a Chinese manufacturer manufacturing a dead-ringer for a Landrover Evoke under their own name ... they aren't shy about stealing tech ... hopefully we can start stealing some from them, benefits in kind.
