In the Spring of 2023 a small group of Ferrari / Dino 208 and 308 GT4 had some fun on the Dutch backroads.
Go read and see here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

May 25th 2024 we had a sequal with eight GT4 and two Alfa Romeo. One GT4 owner had a mishap and brought his fab stepnose, and my wife and I followed the herd in the project Spider.

Let's drop some phone pics first:

Notice the similar proportions of a perfect medium-sized sports car. Our Spider TS adds 150 kgs and lacks about 70 brake.
Paul and Janet came over from the UK, and organiser Arian and Ingrid brought the car Arian drives since 1985!

All eight GT4 present at the Visscher Museum.

A pretty line-up at our lunch break spot. Colours!

Insanely pretty Alfa Romeo stepnose driven hard by Dino van Lingen.

Francis GT4 had a special treatment. Sounded good and looked pretty stable. An exact 237 brake on the dyno.

Discussing cars is what it's all about.

Of course I brought my Olympus and shot a few.

Start of a gorgeous day out: last drops of rain fell after we finished our brekkie.

My god what a fab job by Gandini, Bertone and Ferrari: such an exceptional package.

A rare sight on a Ferrari: drops of rain after a night out.

The windscreen wipers are the other way around as well...

A few moments before we hit the button to activate the power hood.

Are we done? Let's get on with it!

These fascinate me. Looks are absolutely beautiful, I’m sure with sounds to match, a master class in Italian design and engineering.

I’ll have mine in any colour except Rosso; looks like a great get together of like minded enthusiasts.

It's time to go and hit the road.

We warmed up our engines during a one hour hoon to https://visscherclassique.nl/

Waiting for the rest to come, in front of the Visscher Classique museum which hosts a French orientated collection of superb preserved cars. Some are for sale, some ar for hire.

Parking our project Spider TS is a beauty and then beast affair. Look at that mint and superb driving 1968 Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Veloce. This must be one of the best around. And it goes like stink. Phew...

Six in a row, and then there's a V8 flate-plane crank soundbyte. Dino arrives. Bliss.

Francis' 308 on 16" and with a proper stance. This and the yellow car were my favorites of the pack.

I nearly bought one on 1999, red, reg 48 DNO, the car was £14k, not in lovely condition, the number plate was for sale at an additional price.

The ropey underside scared me off and I bought a 3.2 Carerra.

I was all set to buy this one in the mid noughties until a friend borrowed one from the Classic Car Club a couple of days before I was due to view - completely put me off (I had a 928 at time and I was shocked about how unrefined it felt in comparison). Swapped the 928 for an 840 - in hindsight should have bought the Dino, tucked it in the garage for high days and holidays and got myself a weekend smoker - hey ho.....

No Ferrari can be a bargain: they need to get out and will need attention.

Well, basically every car needs that.

RE: Harsh ride
>>> They are pretty good actually end compare to early 911 G Modells IYAM.

Dino Day 2 Spring 2024 > Compared to DD1 we doubled the turnout, albeit only three litre cars.
