Trying to get a pack number at the moment and you would think it should be simple. quick phone call to provider, i want please of course sir it is...

there simple.

but no, a certain high street company with some cheesy dancing handset, want me to wait for them to send me a letter, then I have to sign it return it and then they will text me a number.

why i cant text them of course not good enough and not the same as everyone else sir. they say, strange how never used to be like this, so who they getting in line with.

and i am out of the country in two weeks so will have to carry two phones and eventually one will stop and the other start probably.

A certain third generation phone company did almost the same to me.
"No sir, we have to send these out by letter. It'll take up to 14 days to arrive".
It arrived exactly 14 days later. B*****ds!!!

On a positive note,

I recently switched from Vodafone to o2 and both sets of customer services were excellent and it was quick easy to get my pac and transfer my number.

So they're not all bad.

I've moved from O2 to Vodafone and back again with no problems both ways.

Had fun recently upgrading my dad's O2 phone. Product knowledge obviously wasn't required in the O2 shop. The best one was when comparing 2 phones, one stated on it's tag that it had a 2.0 megapixel camera, no mention on the other tag. So I ask the assistant how many megapixels is the 2nd phone. She looks at the tag and says 'It isn't listed so it hasn't got any'

Even my dad sussed that was wrong!

Waiting for mine to send me a new phone and sim (lost mine yesterday)
They said: as you are a Business customer we will have it with you by 12 o'clock .

Not arrived yet
I called them to confirm/double check that it was going to arrive - the numpty said they would check and call me back - no call back called them again to be told that they had left a message on my voicemail to let me know it should arrive this afternoon or tomorrow morning at the latest!

I asked what voicemail?
Reply: On your mobile!

I wont post my response as I dont think the swear filter could cope
