650s Akrapovic?

I walked past another 650s earlier, that had an Akrapovic branded exhaust, I was a little envious of the carbon shrouds as i'd like to get my 'tips' repainted.

Didn't hear the car, do they sound the same as the sports exhaust?

My experience is that it will be louder but essentially the same pitch as the sports exhaust. I’ve looked extensively for one that gives the snarling, high-pitched howl that you get inside the cabin with the backlight down, but no luck so far.

Still, I’d rather the car sounding great inside rather than outside (unlike the Europeans which are exactly the opposite).

Regardless, perhaps my US background, but I love the deep NASCAR V8 sound of the OEM sports exhaust, especially loping around town. And that snarl inside the car as the revs rise!

Not a fan of CF as decoration myself, but I know a couple of people who’ve used these folks. They may be able do a custom job for you, assuming it’s real CF you’re looking for.
