Not the film, Netflix have made a series. Even watching the trailer I got a bit emotional. They had better have done this properly.

Not sure when it's due to air other than in 2024 so keep an eye out.

Just watched the first one of these and it seems pretty good. Definitely a bit "Netflix", but very watchable. Looks like there are six episodes out in series one so far, although it says limited series for some reason.

I've just got to the bit that says "Norfolk, England" where there are mountains in the background.

Normal American view of dear old Blighty. Bit like the fog and rain. Nice seeing the old cars though.

It's sort of alright. 10 speed FF cars going round at 33 mph etc etc. Maybe it'll improve.

Every race at Norfolk:

I rewatched the film this week as it was downloaded on my iPad and I had 2 hours on the Eurostar.

The footage of Martin Donnelly in the middle of the track strapped to a bit of car, and of Ratzenburger’s head flopping around is no less sobering and shocking than the first watch.

The portrayal of British fans in the second episode was quite amusing laugh

Cheesy, awful dubbing until I switched to Portuguese with subtitles. Has a bit of a weird AI generated feel to it as well.

Yes, impressive rendition of the Norfolk mountains...

I've pretty much binged it now. It gets much better from E3. The meeting with Senna, Ron Dennis and old man Honda in a Tokyo nightclub doing karaoke is pretty good.

I'm reminded of what a slimeball Balestre was.

Yep, 3 episodes in and it's definitely getting better. Very watchable

Hills in Norfolk with Senna living in what seemed like a welsh/yorkshire mining town. Who noticed the 3D plates on the Alfasud? And the left hand drive MB190 with English plates in episode 2?

Enjoyable enough though

Just watching this, on ep3, its laughable, and they have missed some quite important bits of his story. I never knew Snetterton was so hilly lol

The series gets better, with real footage interspersed with new film
