Contracts are the bane of my life.
First, I've 'lost' a job because I wouldn't sign the incredibly restrictive and insulting pay contract for a reasonably large job coming up shortly. Its disappointing, but I'm a bit glad I stood my ground.
Secondly, an agency who have gotten me only 4 days work in the year I've been with them are demanding I give them one month's notice to cancel, 'as in my contract'. This despite me only just breaking even with the work, and the fees, and them hardly ever ringing me.
I'm sick of people thinking they can take my money and take me for granted. Its only a year since a particular dealer for German cars with rings decided to lie to me about their APR as well.
Its all very depressing. Someone please get me a nice job on a big Hollywood film.....
