I love my manual 456 GT, but I would like it to sound better. I'm not just looking for a noisier back box, but a better engine sound overall.

At normal speeds and RPM, the main sound in the cabin is the V12 engine, rather than the exhaust.

I understand that Fabio at Fiammenghi supplies a whole new system including " two 6-1 type exhaust manifolds, two large high-performance 200-cell metal catalysts equipped with heat shields, is equipped with the secondary air system like the original system" for 8,500 Euros.

I would like driving the car to feel more like an event from the driver's seat (like the V12 in my FF), and I'm less concerned about how it sounds from outside the car.

Has anyone installed this system? I'm hoping that it might transform the driving experience.

Thanks Cake. The Ferarichat thread is the one that is generating my interest!

I'm really looking to hear this exhaust in person, rather than listening to the recorded sound over my computer speakers.

The cost might be approaching £8,000 so I need to hear the result in person.

Excellent update. The difference with exhaust tweaks can be outstanding. I replaced the headers and primary Cats on my 599 with fiammenghi headers. Phenomenal.
Maybe he still has the car
