Do you ever take notice of burglar alarms?

We`ve had one going off across the road for over an hour now and we just assumed it was faulty without a passing thought it might actually be because of an (good neighbours aren`t we!) attempted break in! :hehe:

As it was getting to the stage that it was going to effect my work (I work from home mostly and it doesn`t sound too good phoning clients with that racket in the back ground) I did investigate - and it was a fault - the stranger coming out of the house with a dvd player under his arm told me so! ;):hehe:

Seriously though, I don`t recall any alarms on our estate ever going off except for faults.

Under the environmental protection legislation they're supposed to stop after no more than 20 minutes. Call the environmental health people....
