TreVoR Run 2005 (Valley of the Rocks)

I'd just like to say a big thank you to the organisers, Chris Hodgson and Simon Grimshaw, I think, of the TreVoR Run on Sunday (11 September). My partner and I had a fantastic day out - and I'm pretty sure, given the grins on people's faces, everyone else did too!

Everyone was very friendly and, despite being from South Wales, we were given a warm welcome!

A lot of time and effort had clearly been put into organising the drive and preparing our directions booklets but it certainly paid-off on the day. I don't think anyone got lost - and even if we had done, there were brief stops along the way to allow us to re-group - and we enjoyed a great mix of roads - from the scenery and hill climbs(!) on the North Devon coast, to the twisty country lanes on the way down.

I hope we can join you guys again some time...

indeed, a VERY well organised event and a great route around exmoor/somerset. will keep the maps for next time i get a free weekend
