BCA VAT on Hammer Price

In the BCA online auctions, if it's VAT Qualifying, is VAT added to the hammer price? So if it's £20k hammer, will I get an invoice for £24k or £20k including the VAT?

Seems like a very basic question and I assume the hammer price includes the VAT but some cars go for so much below CAP that I'm beginning to wonder!

The VAT is payable on the buyers premium, not the whole bid amount.
