Quite an alarming statement from the Polish leader and he is not messing about in getting ready for all outcomes. Is he right or wrong? What we have learned from Putin is never trust a word he says so Tusk may be right to be so concerned.

Putin has just said he won’t/ has no intention to invade NATO.
On the basis that when a russian speaks it is likely a lie, preparing for this seems rather wise.

He's echoing what the rest of the Eastern European leaders have said, so in that sense not particularly surprising. What each country does is probably more worth noting.

This is not immediate news in terms of being told that something is occurring that Western European and allied countries were unaware of. But, it’s certainly newsworthy in terms of marking, unequivocally, when a nation with good reason to recognise the signs is warning of what’s to come, unless checked. We’d do well to listen very closely in my view, and act.

I agree. Honest and true words coming form Tusk. Europe should take note.
