I hope they catch the B@st@rd with the hammer,he thought it was ok to attack a defenceless old girl but when the bloke came back at him with the shovel the coward bottled it,what a couple of low lifes him and his mate are.

either torture the guy until he gives up th name of his acomplice who is free to do this again. He must know the guy.
