Hotel recommendations near South East Edinburgh

Hey folks,

I’m taking my car to Greypaul Edinburgh for a service fairly soon and because I live in Aberdeen I was planning driving down the night before and staying at a hotel. Does anyone have any recommendations of hotels with decent car parks fairly close by? I see there is a Premier inn within walking distance, anything else that you’d recommend or anywhere I should stay away from?

The Mellville Inn is good. Decent food too.

The Premier Inn is a walk along a very busy section of road

The 46 or 48 bus will get you too and from the dealership amost door to door or less than £10 in a taxi.

The 49 or the 30 bus goes to Fort Kinnaird too from the city so you can stay central too if you want. Will take you about 40/50 mins to get there.

Bus is £2 for a single journey.
