Afternoon tea - 20 miles ish around Mansfield

Hi all, looking to take the in laws for afternoon tea later this year and after suggestions for anywhere decent (country house hotel etc) within a 20-25 mile radius of Mansfield (they live in Mansfield woodhouse) happy to cross borders into Derbyshire etc but needs to be somewhere nice

Might be just outside of range but www.riversidehousehotel.co.uk at Ashford-in-the-Water might be an option.

Stopping there for afternoon tea as part of an event booked by Porsche on Thursday. Haven’t been before. Will report back.

Riverside was superb. Highly recommend. Beautiful place. Just the right level of fancy. Can’t comment exactly on Afternoon Tea, as our food was a special menu made for Porsche clients. Was a combo of their lunch and afternoon tea offerings.

Thank you, that does look lovely, trouble is we need a Sunday or a Monday and they only do Thursday to Saturday
