Heathrow parking - out from T5 in to T2

Off to America in July flying BA from T5 and coming back on American into T3, each terminal seems to have it's own short\long term parking and the Heathrow website only lets you choose 1 terminal, has anyone else flown from different terminals, how easy is it to get transfers from T3 parking to T5 for example?

The busses only go from the named terminal to the parking. Way around it to use the train/tram to move between terminals and then get the correct bus.
Alternative (and I’ve done this before) is to park in t5 long stay and get the t2/3 business parking bus. This car park is next door to the t5 long stay so you can just walk through between the car parks. Park accordingly on arrival etc
I only did it as my flight was moved from t5 to t3 and I’d already booked the parking and cancelling that and rebooking was much more expensive closer to the point of travel
Other alternative is use one of the non airport parking co’s or hotels and hen it doesn’t matter that you have two different terminals

Really easy - just head for either the Tube or Elizabeth Link/Heathrow Express stations. For the Tube you'll need to tap through the gates with either and Oyster card or contactless debit/credit card but there's no charge for travel between the different Heathrow stations. For Lizzy Line/Heathrow Express you just need to get an interchange ticket from one of the ticket machines.

As above cheat. Park in T5 long stay zone D. When you land at T3 get the business parking bus and get off at the first stop. Then walk out the entrance and back into T5 long stay (they share a fence). 2 minute walk.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of using this shortcut - the T2/3 business parking is currently shut so it doesnt work (as we found out last night )

T2/3 biz parking changed to BA crew parking earlier this year.

We did highlight that on here in a couple of the BA/LHR threads - I’m the one who found out as I turned up on the Monday morning they implemented it and hadn’t told anybody!

we did similar - parked in the long stay at T3 but flew out of T5 and arrived in T3

So parked in T3 and got an uber to T5 then when we landed bus to T3 parking
