Oh my God! My mate just arrived for the weekend and I hardly recognised her. Last week she had some minor surgery, i.e she had a combination of Restylane and Botox injected into her fisog :vomit: I have to say she looks good (in a trout pout kind of way)

Anyone had any experience with this procedure? Eventually if I become vain enough I may consider having something done, but they'd have to knock me out first, even if it were just injections.

:SHUDDER:

Thanks, you just confirmed exactly why I'll just be letting my face age disgracefully.

Someone said recently though, men age like wine, women like... milk.

But as a man (and for many men) we take a certain amount of pride in growing older, letting the years etch their passing, we feel good about growing older

Well I do understand cosmetic surgery if you have been in a accident or perhaps born with some defect that can be repaired. But somehow this new trendy thing that having botox there and a bit there and eventually they just get into that cycle of repairing everything. I´m not against it, people who want to do it, then go for it but dont go overboard. We have seen people in the public eye whom become real monsters after these surgeries. Need I remind the Jackson family for example.

Surgery great idea, another couple of years I'm going for full face lift. Why age when you can cheat. Enough people on here have had laser on eyes.

Anyone see Joan Rivers on Jonathon Woss last night??

Yeah she's really good looking.....not.

Don't do it ladies! It'll end in tears (or not cos the botox may stop your tear ducts from functioning).

personally i dont think theres anything wrong with it, in a lot of ways its a huge confidence boost especially for women in thier 30s and 40s who may become insecure about thier looks,if keeping themselves look younger and beautiful makes them feel better then why not?

I say go for it...
As long as there are no hidden issues that could arise later.

I love being a bloke...... Women have started to tease me about the first whisps of grey hair..... Yet they all seem to say it's sexy.

Proof if ever it was needed that god was a man

Hmmm. Women have been telling me for years that grey hair is 'distinguished'. However not one has said "You look distinguished, fancy a sh*g?"

EDIT: Oops, typo...

The Leslie Ashe problem is she was injected into the wrong place, she should have had it following the top line of the lips but she also had it injected into that bit that comes down from your nose, the collegen IIRC dosnt break down in this section so she is stuffed unless she has it sucked out again.

I would have cosmetic surgery without a doubt when I can afford it.

Claire - 30 yesterday and present from Mum was anti-wrinkle creme...!

Have mentioned this before I think, Iv'e had 2 ops so far on my conk, and I'm just steeling myself for the third and nastiest which will involve a cartilage graft from a rib.

My nose got smashed when I was a kid so I guess you could class it as a proper defect kind of this as it was a right mess by the time I reached my 20s not much use for breathing etc.

I can see no problem with people having surgery if it makes them feel better about themselves. As a kid and a teen is was tough, really tough having every *ucker of a kid calling you various pleasant names, and even as an adult being mistaken for a boxer all the bloody time was almost as bad.

The ops have sorted out most of the problems now, just need the reconstructive thing.

But IMO whether it's me with my smashed nose, a guy with a scar across his face or a women who feels inadequate because her boobs are too small, people should just get if fixed and get on with things.

I never had understood why some people take a judgemental stance on plastic surgery any more than any other kind.

Seen this or someone a fair bit like it elsewhere, bit disturbing really, which I expect is desired effect it'd hoped for.

stood a bit too close to threshing machine with somewhat predictable results.
