Its obviously heavily modified

Been to see it today and about to pay a deposit but thought I'd see if anyone knows of it?

Can't help with this one, but I'm also looking at M240s at the minute.

Look great in the flesh, especially with a wee black spoiler and front bumper lip thing.

Rapid aparrantly, especially with a remap.

Went to see an approved used one on Sunday, but clear damage to rear bumper (and poor repair( put me off that one.

Still fancy one though!

Would put me off too, i'm surprised a decent dealer is allowing a member of staff to do it unless it is someone high up in the dealership.

The steering wheel put's me off too, looks like they replaced the standard one with an M steering wheel, and I hate those red buttons they have put on, which i'd assume don't do anything anyway in a M240i

Just the grammatical errors in the advert would almost be enough to put me off but then to state it's a staff member's car (a little odd that they would allow this as above) is the final nail in the coffin.

Print the advert.

It's advertised by Warrington Mazda, but will be passed to a private seller?

I'd be reporting that ad to Autotrader.

Luring someone in with a main dealer advert, then saying it'll be a private sale, is not on.

There's also pictures taken of the car in what looks like their showroom, print those too.

This stinks of a dealer trying to dispose of a car through what one might call "the back door" to relieve them of their obligations as a dealer.

Massive, massive, reds flags.

Check carefully the V5 details against who you're paying, and if the last keeper change was very recent I'd assume it's a problem car that the dealer's put into a private name to enable a private sale.

This happens a lot.
