Has anyone used these guys? Basically I was using RBM Hampshire and, to their credit, their quality of work is top notch, cannot fault so may end up going back there. However, reason I stopped (or at least used someone else recently) was not just because they're an hour's drive away (not the end of the world, and helpful they have a courtesy car) but because they seem impossible to get hold of....rarely answering the phone but last time I left them a voicemail they never got back to me, and I sent them an email and was told they'd get back to me in a few days....that was back in October and I never heard back.

So.....Without naming names I tried somewhere else and I am not convinced they're all that good (won't go into depth why) so I am wondering about Barkers Motor Works. They have great Google reviews but wondering if anyone on here has any first hand experience? Not just for basic servicing but perhaps even more specialist work, so I know they aren't just a "normal" garage.

Many thanks.

Can highly recommend Barkers, Richard Barker is very approachable and knowledgeable.
My experiences with them were all positive, and if I was still local I’d still be using them.

I have used Richard for about 8 years now on various M5's (e39, F10, F90). Very happy with the advice, work and service.

Would definitely recommend Richard. Going back probably 8 years now, but he was great sorting my troublesome E46.
