Garage Floor stand for bikes
Discussion
Has anybody used something like these ….
I have 4x (good) MTBs currently leaning against walls and want a better solution - these seem ideal but wondering if any undue force on wheels or if rear mech/disks might interfere

ps. I don’t want wall storage: (i) I have plenty space for 'floor mounted' , and (ii) I’m paranoid about one falling on my car :-)

I have a few of these for our family bikes, sure you could fix them if you wanted like your OP suggestion.

Will work up to a 2.35 tyre

Slightly different suggestion, I have one of these (was available on Amazon at the time), which frees up a lot of space, although you do need to be able to get at it from both sides, have a fairly level floor, and decent height clearance. I've got an XL hardtail, the wife's medium hardtail on the bottom, and 2 XL road bikes on the top.

All the bikes sit off the ground as well, so you can fire up some freehub angry bees as you pass if you're into that kind of thing

These work very well on all my bikes inc E mtb with 2.6 x29

Ive got one - they work, mine was from Homebase or some similar DIY place and holds 3 bikes
Main issue is that need to put in front wheel, if use back wheel can sometimes knock the deraillier.
So can't really put them nose to tail.
If you mount them on the wall rather than the floor then your derailleur is safe and you can park nose to tail (that’s my approach anyway). Sometimes putting the bike in the highest gear before you park up gives sufficient clearance between wheel and derailleur if floor mounted. I've got a couple of these

Dead handy as I can move them outside when needed
