Came across this video from Litchfield today.
Can't see it on their website but full description of the kit (using all genuine Porsche parts) is in the description of the video.
Given that 991.2 GT3s can be had for around £120k - £130k and the tourings are still hovering around the £200k mark from what I can see, the £14,875+vat price for the conversion actually seems reasonable if you do want to pay the Porsche tax for a genuine one.

I love this conversion, a 991.2 touring but pdk is the perfect daily imo. But 15k plus vat!

But I’d love to know the exact parts list?
I’d imagine a few things can be picked up off eBay to mitigate the costs i.e carrera rear wing & mechanism.
Says new bumper on the YouTube description but I don’t see why it would need that..

The parts list is extensive.

The whole ram-air air intake design is completely different from the winged GT3 to the Touring. Electronics aside, physically it's much more involved than a simple decklid replacement.

I had a look back at my invoice. 96 individual parts across 39 individual part types.

Mine did not need a new rear bumper. Don't follow why that is a pre-requisite for the conversion.

I assume once the cars been modified in this way it voids the warranty?

I think you’d want to own a winged car for a year or so. If you’re satisfied that it’s a long term keeper, then having this conversion seems a fairly reasonable thing to do. Yes it will be out of warranty, but they also had some advantages and eventually they will all be out of warranty.

I suppose technically yes. Although part of me wonders whether an OPC would ordinarily even be able to identify that the conversion had been done. Only if they were to review the car's full specification codes I guess and if they spot that the Touring box was not ticked.

I try to avoid going near OPCs these days, let alone letting them anywhere near servicing my Porks, so not an issue for me personally. I think the knowledge of the GT cars (not to mention the care and attention) at the best indies is far superior. But that's a separate discussion altogether.

@Heathrow did you have yours converted by Litchfield?

I recently enquired about this at RPM, so interesting to see that Litchfield offer this too - the one part that stood out to me was the guerney flap on the decklid, which has a 1k price tag from Porsche so I was told.

I really want a touring, and the conversion by RPM or Litchfield looks a viable alternative. However, the circa 20K investment is a significant sum, which I am not sure would be realised if the car were to be sold - understand this is the only route if you want a PDK Touring, but I'm looking at a manual

Upon doing some research

Touring intake lid looks the same as a normal carrera & 991 .1 gt3 one, with a central intake and the 2 fans on either side. Compared to two big rams on either side with fans in the middle on the winged .2 gt3

RPM Technik did my conversion. The price was less than that quoted by Litchfield but mine was done a while ago so may not be an apples-for-applies comparison.

The gurney flap is an integral part of the OEM Touring decklid and was not a separate component. See GT Silver car in the image below. The aero kit decklid is a different decklid unit altogether - as fitted to the black car in this RPM video (link further below)

Planetstank, you are correct in general terms on the single vs dual air intake point on the Touring vs Winged cars. Whether it is exactly the same intake system as the regular Carrera I will compare/contrast next time I'm together with an owner of a 991.1 and 991.2 (I assume there were no changes between generations).

I am in the market for a new car and no clue what I want to buy, but a 991.2 gt3 is strong up the list!
