My dad's car:-

OS mirror clicking when unlocking ( trying to power fold).
Pressing the unlock on remote stops the mirror clicking.

Power fold mirrors not working. On switch or when locking/ unlocking.

OS window not working but a clicking can be heard from OS footwell.
NS window works.

Osr indicator flashes in time with the mirror clicking.

Any help greatly received.

Remove the OS door panel and check the connections inside the door, common for water ingress to rust the connections which in turn cause the window to not work (for a starting place)

Mirror folding on locking wasn't a factory feature. Maybe someone has installed an aftermarket box to do it that has now failed?

Stripped the door out. Wiring loom is soaked but no breaks or issues.

Earth for the power fold is spliced in with the window motor earth, and I'm guessing the side repeater/indicator.

I think it's back feeding as the motor is seized. ( Tried 12v on the motor on the bench no movement).

Window regulator can be seen to be wet and it clicks when both up and down pressed.

So we are going to fit a regulator and refit the mirror with the powerful disconnected as the passenger on has a mind of its own also.

Thanks for input.

Fitted the second hand window which worked once.
Then the drivers door didn't lock, passenger door didn't unlock.
So went looking for water in other places.

Then find this.... above the BCM/Fusebox.
Loose earth. All back together and all working apart from the powerfold mirror ( motor definitely seized as tried it on the bench.
