Always worth a look when a manual Murci comes up for sale.

Suitably bonkers orange, nearly 70k on the clock (nice that someone has used it!), and some noticeable scrubbing on the front lip.

What say you?

I think I'd want to see a lot of service history, if it's been really well maintained then if could be a good choice, if not the purchase price could come to look like a mere down-payment.

Is it Simon George who has a really high mile Murci, his stories would be good to see what typically wears out at this sort of mileage.

Pending the usual inspections etc that you'd have on a 145k car, absolutely

My reservation is that £145,000 is still a serious load of money, for something that will only ever get less desirable as the miles rise.

Viewed as a cheaper way of getting a Murcielago, brilliant.

By all other rational measures, probably not.

There was a chap in Evo Mag that used to run his cars to high mileage, passenger track laps etc. Perhaps his?

But surely any Murcielago of any mileage - or any supercar for that matter - only gets less desirable as miles rise? And adding 10k miles to a 69k reading will make less difference to desirability than starting with 5k or 10k on the clock?

Simon as referenced above. It’s been crashed at least once and is something crazy like 300,000 miles.

A couple of engine rebuilds etc.

But it is proper used

No- not based on what Simon George has said.
I seem to recall he said oil pressure drops at around 80,000 miles which is the first indication of a rebuild being needed. That’s not a cheap fix.

It’s still fine at 69,000 miles, I think my first top end rebuild was at 117,000 miles and much of that on a track. That said as miserablegit said an owner will notice a slight drop in oil pressure in the 80k’s..
Overall the 6.2 V12’s are pretty understressed so take mileage well.
The time for a rebuild comes when the drop in oil pressure at idle brings the warning light on. Then it’s time to get your credit card out

I wouldn’t have an issue with that mileage as long as the service history is in tact.

If I had room I’d be seriously interested.
