Does the car have a smooth acceleration or does it surge slightly? Any history of fault codes for cam shaft or crank shaft position sensor failures?

Yes it is smooth but it will put your behind in the chair if you boot it . It had a full tune and diagnostic done last year when I got the car remapped by pendle performance look them up they know there stuff. Had to get it serviced and all new coil pack's changed for the tunning

When you say ‘paintwork refreshed’, what do you mean? Repainted panels, new lacquer, whole repaint ??

I had a few scratches and stone chips on the body so they got sorted out

No the car hasn't had a complete re-spray. Had a few scratches and stone chips sorted out
