Where is forum.bmw5.co.uk these days?

I think I remember reading that there would be a FB group. I have had a look but there are a surprising number of BMW, 5-series relevant FB groups and I can't figure out which one is the forum.bmw5 people. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Died it's death unfortunately when the last forum crashed; wasn't backed up properly and a lot was lost. A shame really as it was a great forum with a wealth of knowledge

Absolutely no idea if the FB group is still going; it seems to be more of a holding page than anything else

I'm no longer a member; it's not what it was and lots of folk aren't on there any more because of how it went down

It was a real shame - such a wealth of information. The Facebook forum descended into posts mostly along the lines of "my 520d is making a funny noise"

Yup; that's FB for you...

It made it worse IMO; they should have got a basic holding forum page up & running ASAP and then rebuild it from there; but they didn't and spent far too much time trying to resurrect the old forum

Everyone that managed it had full time jobs; so don't blame them for doing what they could only try to do

Sods law what happened; this is why backups are necessary
