HI there

Had the lads over at Autobrite Direct UK give my 1978 Corvette the full works with paint correction and a 5yr ceramic coating, the results are nothing short of incredible. Over the moon! smile

That's a good looking thing !!

You must have been buzzing when you first saw it after the detailing.

Almost as exciting as the day you first bought it . bounce

Yes indeed though my very first drive was a little disappointing:

It been my first classic I was somewhat shocked at how at first I thought it was some weird manual automatic, as I did not realise the number 3 was equivalent to drive, so I was going 1, 2 and upto 3 on the automatic gearbox, LOL.

Then the ride quality, it was shocking, I later discovered my car had the Gymkhana suspension pack, so anti-roll bars, uprated springs and the factory AC Delco shockers, just made the car rattle and myself too.

However I fitted a set of Bilstein dampers and changed out the old iron leaf spring for a composite version, this transformed ride quality wih no impact on the handling which is quite decent for a car of this age.

In short it drives amazing, looks amazing and sounds amazing, I love it. smile

One last video of the exhaust:

A joy to drive, I do about 1000 miles per year in it. smile
