For those looking at home Audio servers get this Monster!!! Not only Audio but DVD-Video on disk!!!

Cannot see the point. Get a KISS dvd system and use your PC via FTP to serve your video that way. Oh and you can remotely start recording etc - save vast fortunes as well

How does that work, via mobile phone or PC ??

Data can either be stored on PC or its own 80gb drive, films etc can be played via FTP using the standard remote, start/stop pause etc. Built in tuner so timeshift.
Remote: Log onto their website enter password select programme and bingo. (system uses their site for program listings etc).

I must be dumb..

whats an audio server ?

I have my pc wired up to my denon in the living room by audio digital cable,and my video card kicks out video signals in component pal progressive to a suited TV.Cant imagine a better laid out system ( simple quality set-up, ) , whats the benefit of a server ?

Very slick, but if you earn enough to be able to afford it you probably don't have time to watch that much TV.
