Does anyone remember this programme? It was a series of 6 episodes and in each one they looked at a different type of driver.
There was a salesman who'd been given a Maestro and he said he cried, and another salesman who said the car had to have "i" on the back because "i stands for Important"

I remember this! About 10 years ago or so. The company car guy was a tool. IIRC he had a white astra "injection" and reckoned that this made him more important than other road users. There was the guy with the maestro who was cheesed of as he was given a diesel and thought it was a big step down from the last one he had. There was also a family who had hit financial difficulty (recession time) and they had to change down to an old cortina (IIRC it was rented/leased from a company that specialised in bangers) and the daughter was terminally ashamed of her dad.
The episode that stuck in my mind was the slimeball sales guy who clearly made his living by pressurising people into signing up to stuff they didn't need.
He'd used all the same high-pressure strategies on his fleet manager, who'd caved in and bought him a beemer with loads of toys instead of a boggo cavalier etc.

Is that the same guy that had to have a certain type of jacket and shirt hanging in the back?
