Does anyone have a recommendation for a product to maintain leather motorcycle boots?

I've left mine alone for many years but they're starting to look a little tired and worn. I sometimes ride in the rain so something that restores water resistance would be good.

On the advice of the motorcycle-riding manager of my local 'outdoors' shop, I use beeswax or beeswax-based products. Temporarily improves finish and water resistance, apply every now and again. There's loads of different ones, think I have Granger's which is one of the less fancy ones.

I use URAD on all my boots and work shoes etc.
It’s a conditioning wax available on Amazon.
Really good stuff.

For many years my boots, and the rest of my leathers, have been maintained using Dubbin. Feeds the leather, improves its waterproofing and helps restore faded colour, black Dubbin on black leather.

One pair of 8 year old Altberg motorcycle boots, one pair of 6 year old Altberg " field and fell " boots, one pair of 5 year old Alpinestars boots. All maintained with just normal Cherry Blossom black polish, no cracks or scuffs showing and still waterproof.

But this is the correct answer, I use it on my jacket and other boots. It’s cracking stuff.

Me too

And I've tried Beeswax and various other new miracle balsams they don't compare

Renapur is good for conditioning - I use Nikwax for cleaning, which is OK. Alpinestars make a lot of their boots from Lorica (synthetic leather), including the Supertech.

Thanks all, lots of options to try.

Given the number of replies in support I think I'll give Renapur a go first.
