The woman has a seriously irresponsible attitude. How, I ask, have the local Safety Partnership missed her?

They should make a program about "road sarcasm". I get that a lot.

He was too busy listening to his bloody phone. Not paying attention to the road ahead and potential hazards, and was therefore suprised and had to react sharply to avoid the car pulling out.

If he had been watching the road, he could much more calmy braked and steered around it.

That woman was a liability. She has completely the wrong attitude to driving. I'm not suprised that the doctor had her hands over her face. They should show her some photos of people who have crashed without seatbelts on - might make her think a bit.
