Ultima near Chicago

Jeff Schwartz is putting together an LS2 engine with a Magnacharger for me. His car has an LS chassis, mine is a stock chassis, and I am in Hong Kong.

I am looking for someone in Chicago that has a stock chassis so that Jeff can do the final jigging on the headers.

Does anyone know of any Ultimas in Chicago?

There are several members in IL with ultimas. A bunch of us will be in chicago this weekend with jeff, maybe someone going to the club meet will have a rolling chassy he can use.

It would be great to get hold of a stock chassis and jig some headers, then Jeff would be able to make them for others who wanted an LS engine in a stock chassis.


I want headers that run down low as I need to run cats, and also I live in Hong Kong where its hot all year round, so I am trying to keep the heat low. Jeff should be able to make all of the bits before hand, he only needs to sit the engine+trans in the chassis and do the welding. Then he can make a jig off those for future use.


After I posted the note I saw that you have a meeting there this weekend, hopefully he can meet someone this weekend that can assist.
