Serial BMW tart reporting for duty

Im coming to the end of a BMW UK Forces PCP on a 5 series which was stupendously cheap

In the past Ive both bought from TRL and also used his prices on various internet sites as leverage with my local dealer who has always been very quick to match

But.........

Things arent the same this time round. BMW Forces has shut down and TRL only seems to post pick up photos on Insta without his usual deals coming up on a number of BMW fan sites as he used to do

I have concluded that bargain Beemers are no more, is this a fair assumption?
By bargain I mean a chunky 20-30% discount if not more

And yes I know APR is more expensive than it has been over the last decade

Cheers

Welcome to the crossover which is 2023-2024. Give it time and things will change again, but with the base rate being really high and manufacturers only just starting to catch up on the backlog of orders (which might get cancelled with them taking so long), it won't be for some time yet, it's not 2021 any more, sadly.

TRL is still operating, however it tends to be more factory orders that he does these days. I picked up an M3 from him in September with a decent discount. The one off stock deals at stupid prices have mostly gone now though, although him and his colleague BMA (Charlie) do post up offers on Instagram from time to time.

You need to contact him on his email.

Yep - still by far the cheapest for me. Have an M340i Touring coming via him in March, discount is decent but not as it was 3-4 years ago.

Tony's very honest and upfront with pricing and lead times, so that's where I'd be enquiring first. Beat my local Sytner dealers by a large amount and had earlier built slots.
