I’ll give this a go. My guess it’ll be on Sky/Now TV as they usually have the HBO stuff.

It's going to be on Sky Atlantic, like previous True Detectives. The first episode is out on the 15th of January, I believe each episode will be released weekly.

I'm not massively optimistic, but I'll be watching.

Never considered watching this, but reviews are great.......do I need to have seen any of it before, or can I go in cold on this one?

Differrent characters and stories, so you can go in cold.

First one was great, next two not so much for me. Hopefully this one is as good as the hype.

Really good, and the Alaska setting makes it even more chilling (literally).
