I've had my Chimaera since '97 but somehow forgotten the purpose of the small dial/ knob below the indicator stalk control to the left of the wheel. It is about 1cm in diameter. I'm guessing it isn't crucial , after 26 years of driving it.
A nice range of possibilities! I turned it & nothing fell off. The dash lights did not change in intensity. AI (!) told me it was a manual choke, which I think is wrong ( late '94 model). Maybe it is the intermittent wiper speed.
It's the delay for the variable intermittent wipers.
Correct, a rare piece of modernism in our cars (and very convenient too). From memory I think this is faster when turned to the front and slower to the rear.
