Mentioned on the other thread, but when mine wasn't working I was able to poke around and get it to work without replacing. Think i just pulled off the connector, cleaned it up and put it back on.
The Blue LEDs are rubbish and not very bright. Even when working they are are to see when on the move. Just like the blue AC indicator LED.
Would be interesting if you manage to replace it with a better quality one though.

My main beam indicator has always been fine brightness wise.
