S2000 specialists?

Are there any Honda and/or S2000 specialists in the UK? Or are people using Honda dealerships and general garages for anything they can't do themself?

By specialist, I mean an independent with good knowledge of the idiosyncrasies, proper diagnosis and so on rather than loading up the parts cannon based on what the scanner said.

I've not had cause to need one before but it dawned on me it would be good to have a plan in mind in case that changes!

ETA I'm on the Beds/Herts/Cambs border, if by some miracle I live near one.

There are a few. Someone will be along with the actual names in a minute. But from memory, there’s one near Swindon, one somewhere near Dartford and one near Congleton.
The problem is, there are a 100 other garages run by someone’s mate that used to own a S2000 and they all get recommended too. They might well be very good, but they’re not “specialists”.
IMHO your best bet is to find a garage that has a reputation for working on sports or even racing cars and has a four wheel alignment set up. If they have a good reputation you can be reasonably sure they’ll do a good job and actually solve problems.

Thanks both, Fleet and Dartford are both 1-1.5 hours from me so not too far.

TGM set up my Ohlins after I fitted them, did a great job. No BS. Tom can't half pedal too.

I'm Essex based and it's well worth the trip. You won't regret it.

I used to use TGM but found them an absolute nightmare to get hold of, get anything booked in so sadly I had to give up.

I recently used Honda R in Carterton, Oxfordshire and the bloke was brilliant. Will be my go to from now on.

You also have dream automotive in Luton, they seem to be focused on the newer cars but could be worth enquiring as that will be close to you.

Second recomendation for Honda R, they did the fuel lines and brake pipes on my car a few years ago.

For a right side of London option, R2 Automotive in Grays are excellent - They've always got a collection of S2000's in for all kinds of work, and have helped out quite a few members of our Essex Honda group.

When I had my S2000 I used Jimmy at Auto Tech Studio, just outside of Milton Keynes. The garage was always rammed with S2000s and his prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Not South; but can highly recommend Grinspeed up here in Preston, Lancs

A lot of Honda's inc S2Ks have been through their doors from all over the UK
