10 months ago, way back in the depths of December, my cousin (Victoria) was driving up the A4/M4 near Chiswick in stop/start traffic.

It was peeing it down with rain, the road was slippery and the traffic suddenly came to a halt. The next thing she knew a black Audi A4 had ploughed into the back of her. She's in the outside lane panics slightly (she's not the most experienced of drivers) and sits and waits whilst traffic tries to get round her.

Tall dark handsome man (OK - he was blonde, but you get the picture) gets out of the Passat into the rain and tells her to move across to the side of the road, to get out of the way of the traffic.

Cars are both damaged but nothing too horrendous. They swap details. Then he offers to buy her a quick coffee at the petrol station to calm her down before she set back on her way. They get chatting, and....

....10 months later he's just proposed to her, and they are getting married at Christmas.

Aaaaah. :cloud9:

I think she's kind of pleased her car got bashed up that day. :)

Had this conversation with a few mates some years back, and alot had considered (but never gone through with) running (gently) into a girls car to get her number. Wonder if anyone here has actually done it?

I once tried to take a girl from behind at a roundabout, cos she was pretty. I missed, and ended up in guildford canal.

Ah yes - A4 - sorry.

Was talking about a Passat to a colleage and it kind of slipped in there by mistake.

It's just like dangling a nice big fat juicy worm on a hook for vixpy1, isn't it?

The only accident I ever had I ploughed into an attractive young girl. Then sued the pants off her.

Would probably have been easier the other way around...

If her rear end was really crumpled he would have had to put it on a flat bed before driving her home
