E53 x5 brake line replacement help

Hi Guys

Has anyone changed there brake lines on an e53?

I can’t really find any YouTube videos on this

Mine failed the mot on corroded lines so I think I’m going to give it a go myself, but firstly does anyone know which side the lines run down? I don’t fancy removing plastic trims only to find they are on the drivers side lol!

Also any tips on this job? I’ve only ever done the hoses!

The brake pipes that usually corrode on an X5 are at the rear, in front of, and above the fuel tank.
If you are shy at removing a few plastic trims, I can't really see you removing the rear axle and fuel tank to replace them!
