The video link shows my son (little st) reversing into my daughters pride and joy. No visible damage, but the car was undriveable afterwards, the rear wheel was hit at the back and the car now has a huge amount of toe out, measured it at more than 25mm.

Tried adjusting it but the washer even when maxed out will not compensate enough, it still has 5mm toe out afterwards. Can't see anything bent when the car is on the ramp, just wondered if anyone has any pointers where to start?

It will be a bent upper arm. No big deal as they're cheap and easy to replace. They are designed to fold up so the subframe doesn't bend.

Thanks for the comment.

Discovered it was the upper arm (toe link) mounting bracket on the subframe, which appears to be made of cheese. Made a jig from wood and a ratchet strap, pulled it back with a big bolt then welded some decent support steel in there, stringed the car and all is good.
